Another more unusual patient

We have had the company of this goose in the Morley hospital after being brought into our Kippax clinic by Yorkshire Water, who had found it in the Ledsham/Fairbun area.

The goose was in a very sorry state when we first saw it, the wing was dropped, there were grazes on the beak, bruises the body and it was underweight.

The goose has been given the best chance of making a full recovery by being taken to the RSPCA Stapeley Grange wildlife centre in Cheshire where it can have some rest and relaxation being cared for in appropriate surroundings. We will keep everything crossed that it makes a good recovery.
